Welcome to Greenstone Wildlife Estate

The Estate lies adjacent to the historically famous town of Barberton – the “Gem of the Lowveld”. Like a radiant pearl, it is shelled in a huge crater at the foothills of the majestic Makonjwa mountain range with stunning 360° views across the Barberton valley towards Kaapsche Hoop and around. It forms part of the so-called“Route 38: Gateway to the Wild Frontier”. Ancient greenstone rocks dating back 3.5 billion years adorn the magnificent mountain land scenery. These lofty mountains are often shrouded in mist and the tree-lined valleys are filled with crystal clear streams running through indigenous forests.

Greenstone Wildlife Estate has its own airstrip for private use. The Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is a mere 40-minute drive from town with daily flights to and from Johannesburg and other regional destinations such as Cape Town.
